The clumsy brick phones of two decades ago were merely utilitarian ; the very act of talking on the phone while driving or walking around exuded cool. But as the cellphone market has exploded — from 340,000 subscribers in 1985 to 220 million today — the act of calling has lost its intrinsic decadence.
Today, it’s the phone that speaks volumes about the person carrying it. Prada and LG Electronics Inc. just teamed up to produce a sleek black touchscreen phone, following in the high-heeled footsteps of Dolce & Gabbana, which attached its iconic logo to a gold Motorola Razr phone, and Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., which unveiled a Versace phone last summer. Both clothing designer Diane von Furstenberg and streetwear designer Lifted Research Group worked with T-Mobile USA Inc. in the fall to create different limited edition Sidekick phones. Continued…

Black Berry Owners Make More Money!!!!!!!
A new national survey says that Blackberry and Treo owners may be split on whether the devices “chain you to work more than they liberate you,” but one thing is for sure…owning a Blackberry means you are more likely to work longer hours and make more money. Average household income of Blackberry owners was nearly 50 percent higher than the national average, at about $94,000. But 19 percent worked more than 50 hours a week, (while just 11 percent of the general population does) and 53 percent feel they didn’t have enough personal time (compared to 40 percent of the general population). 2. When are they going to make phones for REAL MEN? black and decker, bosch, maybe a nice Makita phone. You know, something I can throw at people. I guarantee you can’t throw that Prada phone at someone and expect it to keep on working

I will stick with my trusty Thuraya satellite phone. Although it may not be stylish it gets the job done from any location on every continent!

I own a BlackBerry…the ‘hours worked’ is surely true…although making 50% more than avg is questionable
